Exosomes hair loss treatment is a cutting-edge treatment that utilises ‘communicating vesicles’ to stimulate your hair follicles to release growth factors. This advanced treatment promotes hair growth, improves follicle health, and enhances the hair growth cycle, providing a natural and effective solution for hair loss.
Hair loss’s primary causes are androgenic alopecia and immune system-mediated reactions. These conditions cause the hair follicles to lose blood supply, shrink, and eventually die, leading to baldness. Pre-Treatment
Book a free consultation/assessment. This treatment is not suitable for everyone. If hair follicles are no longer active at all (ie. baldness) unfortunately, this treatment will be ineffective. For hair that is thinning and receding, this treatment can be an excellent choice.
If you are a good candidate for treatment and wish to go ahead, purchasing the Exo-Grow homecare range is essential. This should be used prior to the first treatment and then throughout your treatment course and beyond.
Use the Exo-Grow homecare range in the run up to the treatment and on the day, ensure your hair and scalp is completely clean (Exo-Grow Scalp Mask). Avoid using any other serums or styling products on the day.
Avoid Sun exposure for 1 week prior to treatment (hats!)
Avoid any other hair treatments or hair colouring for 1 week prior to treatment.
Avoid any kind of fake tan for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment. If there is any trace of fake tan, treatment will not be able to take place.
You can continue to use Minoxidil and Finasteride treatments before, during and after your course. Avoid applying Minoxidil on the day of treatment.
Post Treatment
-Avoid strenuous physical Activity
– Be gentle with your scalp, – do not wash the treated area for at least 8–10 hours post-treatment to allow the exosomes time to work effectively.
– Protect your scalp from Sun exposure
– Avoid additional scalp treatment or hair colouring for 1 week

Please note – Dermapen is not suitable for patients with the following conditions:
Keloid Scars, Papulopustular Rosacea, Herpes Simplex, Scleroderma, Open Lesions, Skin Cancer, Acne Vulgaris Stage 3-4, Warts, Bacterial / Fungal Infections, Haemophilia, Pregnancy.
We cannot treat over any tattoos or semi-permanent make-up.
This treatment cannot be performed if you are taking roaccutane or similar anti acne medications. 6 months delay before treatment is necessary after taking these forms of medication.
Those with cardiac conditions, auto-immune disorders and taking various medications to thin the blood will need to check with their doctor and provide a doctors note prior to commencing treatment.
Retinol skin care lotions or any items containing AHA or BHA should not be used in the 5 days prior to treatment.
In the 2 weeks prior to treatment you should avoid significant sun exposure and any kind of fake tanning. We will be unable to treat you if any trace of fake tan is found on your skin.
